Ed Vere

Ed Vere is an award-winning and New York Times bestselling writer & illustrator of picturebooks. Ed also co-created the award winning 'Power of Pictures' education programme with CLPE which encourages visual literacy in primary school education. Ed is the artist in residence at The Born Free Foundation. He is writing and illustrating a book about how we can best allow wild animals to thrive in the wild and the conservation work Born Free undertakes.

Come and meet his new character The Artist who goes on an epic adventure to share her art, and in doing so learns that it doesn’t matter if you colour outside the lines, art is full of heart… and maybe you are an artist too! Ed will take the audience on a journey through some of his best known picture books and you will get to doodle along too!
