Under The Sea Draw-along
11.30 a.m. | Lismore Library | €5 | for age 3+
Imagine what it would be like to live under the sea – surrounded by fabulous fish, colourful coral and maybe a crab or two. Young artists will work together to create a stunning underwater scene on a giant-scale piece of paper using high-quality art materials. The result will be an explosion of colour!
This event will involve kneeling on the floor and using oil pastels which can make for some grubby hands and knees. Baby wipes will be provided but we advise young artists not to wear their Sunday best!
Design a cover with Kathi Burke
3 p.m. | The Vault Café | €10 | for age 7+
Have you ever wondered where writers get their ideas? Or how book covers are designed? Join Irelandopedia co-creator Kathi Burke for a masterclass in story creation and book design. Get inspired by the world around you, work together to make up a brand new story, and help Kathi to design a unique and original book cover which will be emailed to all our young artists after the event.
